High-quality TETRA handset with localisation and personal security

The TETRA handset FT5 S combines all features of a modern digital radio handset with personal emergency signal functions according to the guidelines of the employers' liability insurance associations for dangerous individual workstations.

All TETRA functions known from the FT4 series compliant with the ETSI standard are available, as are state-of-the-art technologies such as Smart Ready Bluetooth for audio connection and localisation, a 4-way satellite receiver and outstanding TETRA transmission performance for optimum radio connections. The FT5 S has a ruggedised, dustproof and waterproof housing (IP 65), is smaller, lighter and handier than most TETRA handsets on the market, making it the ultimate portable and comfortable handset.

This mobile device was developed for the special requirements of personal security. As a high-quality TETRA personal emergency signal device, the Security FT5 S variant features separate, easily accessible emergency call buttons for manual alarm triggering as well as powerful sensors for automatic alerting in hazardous situations. Integrated localisation modules determine the alarm location in indoor and outdoor areas with floor and room accuracy. Persons working in hazardous environments or at individual workstations can thus be automatically contacted and located at any time in the event of a hazardous situation.

In combination with the Funktel Secury system, the FT5 S meets the strict requirements of statutory accident insurance and is certified in accordance with the requirements of DGUV regulation 112-139, based on the standard DIN V VDE V 0825-1 (11).
