funktel GmbH can now provide you with the complete scope of a professional personal emergency signal system with cost-efficient operation: the new generation of funktel FC4 handsets in the UDSS variants uses standardized transmission mechanisms and can be integrated into GAP-DECT systems*.

A wide range of features is available to safeguard your employees, allowing optimum tailoring to your individual requirements – including the exact localisation of persons in danger situations.

Alarm events are displayed directly and clearly at the emergency call centre, meaning that even complex emergency situations can be immediately understood to allow reliable alarm processing to be initiated. The units are fitted with high-quality sensor technology to automatically identify certain dangerous situations and transmit appropriate alarms with exact localisation of the emergency situation directly to the handsets of the rescue staff.

Explosion-proof models are available for work in potentially explosive gas or dust environments.

High-quality personal emergency signalling functionality

The application of personal emergency signal systems minimises the risk of damages to persons e.g. in hazardous environments where persons are working alone. Damages to assets can be avoided.

According to the requirements of the employers’ liability insurance association (BGR139) and the personal emergency signal system testing standard DIN V VDE 0825-1 the system funktel UDSS can be applied to personal safeguarding for lone-workers.

Automatic, sensor-based identification of emergency situations and automatic forwarding of the alarm to other emergency signal devices active in the system enable rapid assistance to be provided:

  • Meaningful alarm display and alarm processing
  • Precise localisation of the person in distress with optional inductive localisation transmitters allows an exact location plan to be displayed at the emergency call centre
  • Direct guidance of the rescue services to the emergency location using alarm forwarding with location data
