Telephony and messaging Within this modern communications system the Secury FC1 S handset
allows voice communication to other mobile units and to a private branch
exchange and the public telephone network with all ISDN performance
features. Comprehensive messaging functions and a generously sized display
enable reception of both alarm messages and text messages, automatically
generated fault notifications, messages from connected computer
systems,manually generated messages from LAN-based messaging clients right
through to the display of e-mails. Pre-programmed texts can also be
triggered and transmitted.
Personal emergency alarm function
Alarms and messages are transmitted together with the localisation
information to the console at the
switchboard. This localisation information comprises the identification
codes of the DECT™ base stations for the area-related localisation or the
identification codes of the inductive localisation transmitters for
room-specific
localisation of the person in need of assistance.
Will-dependent personal alarm
Push-button alarm, triggered by the alarm button on
the Secury handset
Will-independent personal alarm
Position alarm, automatic triggering by the position
senso
No-motion alarm, automatic triggering when not moving
Time alarm, automatic triggering when a button is not
pressed within a preset time
Loss alarm, automatic triggering when the Secury
handset is forcibly removed

Function alarms triggered if start-up test fails,
with cyclical monitoring errors or when the battery is empty
